Dog Behavior Modification Training Northwest Indiana
What is behavior modification in dog training? It is a training and treatment strategy for transforming bad behaviors that are not only unwanted, but potentially dangerous.
Some of the behaviors that may require rehabilitation are:
- Anxiety/Fear (of all kinds)
- Aggression (toward people and/or other animals)
- Reactivity toward people or toward other dogs (such as barking, lunging, biting)
- Excessive barking
- Noise phobias
- Separation anxiety
- Crate anxiety
- Resource guarding
- Territorial aggression
- Biting
- Dominant behaviors
- Shyness, timidity
While we do not guarantee the end to all the behaviors, we have a significant track record in behavior modification. Over the years, we have had multiple veterinarians, and even other dog trainers, refer aggressive dogs to us.
We are confident that the dogs we work with will have either a complete rehabilitation, where the dog makes a complete turnaround, or there is enough improvement that the behavior becomes much more manageable.
