Trained Dogs For Sale
We realize that many people do not have time to train their own family dog to
the level that they would like, so we have provided an alternative to allow
people to have a professionally trained family and companion dog without all the hassle of
going through training sessions and classes. We can do all the work for you,
from finding dogs with good temperaments, training them in obedience and
etiquette, and even delivering them to you. We specialize in off-leash control,
in and around severe distractions. The level of dog obedience training you can
expect will be an Advanced Obedience Level, with your trained companion dog
having become well-versed in the commands listed on our training page.
On this website, you will find listed Trained Family and Companion Dogs For Sale that we have already trained. You simply look through our list and when you
find the family-companion dog you want, contact us for more information. We also
provide special order trained dogs for sale. This is where you determine what you
want in a trained companion dog (such as breed, sex, color, size,
temperament, level of obedience, etc.). We then go find you the dog, train
him/her…and voilà …you have the dog you’ve always wanted. We can help find the right dog for any situation.
Many people ask how we evaluate dogs that we use for our program, and people wonder where we get the dogs. We are always upfront with people on where each dog comes from. We share everything about the dogs that we know. We have traveled many miles to meet a dog, only to determine it didn't pass our evaluation. That can be frustrating to put in the time and expense of travel, but it's worth it in the long run.
Some of our dogs come from breeders. Many of these dogs have AKC papers, but some do not. Some of our dogs come from private owners. These are typically people who have had the dog since it was a puppy, but are needing to get rid of it for a certain reason. In these cases, we ask a lot of questions. We want to know exactly why they are getting rid of their dog, so we can be sure there aren't any serious problems like aggression or major housebreaking issues.
But a lot of our dogs are homeless. We really enjoy finding good dogs in shelters and rescues so we can train them and find them a good home. That is something we are passionate about and totally committed to.
When we meet a dog for the first time, in addition to asking as many questions as we can, we evaluate the dog on our own. We never take the owner's word for it. We have learned the hard way to do our own evaluation and to do it in person, if at all possible. Some people will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy their dog. We are very picky, so we have to do our own evaluation.
So what do we look for? For starters, we want to see a friendly, confident dog approach us with its tail wagging. If we see fear or severe shyness in a dog, it won't pass our evaluation. Those qualities can turn into aggression as a dog ages. Because we have so many dogs go to homes with kids, we just can't take the chance of placing a dog that may turn aggressive.
If we see a dog that is showing dominant behavior, we probably will not select it, either. It really depends on how dominant the dog is and what age it is. Dominance is another form of aggression, so again, we stay away from those qualities. Obviously, if we meet a dog that is people or dog aggressive, we refuse to go down that road.
We take this seriously, so you can know that our dogs will be good with your family, your friends, your neighbors and other dogs.
